Kevin Lehman- President
Kevin has always had an interest and passion for dogs. After graduating from Lehigh University in 1996 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, he spent several years in engineering and IT before coordinating the founding of Perfect Pooch in 2003. He currently owns five dogs: Laden (Mixed breed rescue), Gavin (Miniature Australian Shepherd), Butters (Miniature Poodle), Tator (Miniature Australian Shepherd) and Kora (Miniature Australian Shepherd).
Sarah Ross- General Manager
Sarah has always been a natural with dogs and grew up with Basset and Blood Hounds. As a child, Sarah and her family trained her Bassets in basic obedience and scent tracking. When Sarah came to Perfect Pooch, we immediately noticed her strong work ethic and natural ability controlling a pack of dogs. She has been instrumental in the company’s progress since 2008, while also coordinating our foster program that has assisted in placing hundreds of dogs in forever homes. She currently lives with her wife Lisa, their five dogs, and three cats- you will often see some their dogs around the building.
Bonnie Korytowski- Manager
Bonnie first came to Perfect Pooch as a client with her dog, Charlie. Her love for animals eventually led her to apply for a position at Perfect Pooch as a yard assistant. Proving herself to be a useful asset in the dog yards, Bonnie quickly rose to the task of helping with our administrative duties. She has continued to add to her area of responsibilities and is now a manager and handles all of our HR needs. Bonnie has a degree from Temple University in Sociology and has become a valuable asset to our operations here at Perfect Pooch.
Chris Asher – Head Trainer
Chris fell in love when he first started working with dogs in the Army. During that time Chris learned to understand canine body language and behavior, and handling skills alongside his explosives detection dog, Marshall. Following his position as an explosives detection dog handler, Chris went on to lead the training program of a local kennel. After three years as the trainer in that facility, Chris decided it was time to move into a more challenging position. Chris now manages the training program at Perfect Pooch, and oversees the education of each dog. Chris really enjoys educating clients in training techniques and helping each owner understand their dog’s behavior(s). You can commonly find Chris working a dog around the facility grounds..
Steve has a background in construction, which he has put to good use here at Perfect Pooch. Steve has quickly taken charge of construction and building maintenance- with Steve heading projects, you will be sure to see constant updates and improvements to our facility. He is also a valuable asset in supervising our yards with his love for dogs and experience with large play groups. Steve is familiar with a multitude of dog rescue organizations and is always excited to meet our newest fosters and work with them towards finding a happy home.
Antoine joined Perfect Pooch after three years of experience at another dog care facility. He graduated from Virginia Union University with a degree in Business and has become an asset to our facility as a part of our daycare team overseeing dog play and kenneling. You will often find him assisting our reception team and helping out in the groom shop.
Mike graduated Washington College with a degree in English and creative writing, while in school he was able to work at dog care facilities and has since continued to thrive working with large play groups. He has also pursued some work in behavior and training and now heads our Enrichment program working with some of our more challenging pooches. He has experience competing in weight pulling with a previous dog and has also worked with some more difficult behavior cases and brings lots of valuable knowledge to the Perfect Pooch team. Mike is fantastic resource to our daycare program and is always helping out throughout the facility. He lives with his rescue dog, River, a cat, his fiance, and young daughter.
Craig graduated from Pottstown High School and immediately followed his passion into the dog care field. Having worked around large play groups in other facilities it was a simple transition having him join our yard supervising team. Having been with use only a short time, Craig has already been a huge asset and is dedicated to growing his knowledge and skills set, he has already attended seminars on First Aid and Canine CPR. Craig lives with his wife and three dogs.
